Poor Baby Luna Screams in Pain After Chicken Attack

Little Luna, the curious baby monkey, was having one of her happiest mornings. She had discovered a patch of sunlight in the backyard near the chicken coop. With innocent joy, she skipped around, trying to mimic the clucking sounds of the hens. Her small hands reached out to pat the ground, imitating the chickens scratching for food.

But Luna didn’t realize she was getting too close to a mother hen guarding her chicks.

Suddenly—without warning—the mother chicken puffed up, let out a loud cluck, and launched at Luna with flapping wings and sharp pecks. Luna shrieked, a high-pitched cry of fear and pain echoing across the yard. She stumbled backward, falling on her tiny hands as the hen’s beak grazed her arm and ear.

Mommy monkey, who had been resting nearby, leapt up the moment she heard her baby scream. She rushed over and grabbed Luna into her arms, pulling her away from the angry hen. Luna clung to her mother’s chest, crying so hard that her whole body shook. Her tiny face was wet with tears, her lower lip trembling.

Everyone nearby stopped. Even the other chickens seemed to grow quiet as Luna sobbed in her mommy’s arms.

Mommy monkey checked her baby all over, grooming her gently to calm her down. No serious injuries—just small scratches and a big fright. But to Luna, the emotional pain was just as deep as the physical sting.

She nestled into her mommy’s fur, eyes slowly closing, comforted by the warmth and heartbeat she knew so well.

From that day on, Luna kept her distance from the chicken coop.

Her curiosity had taught her a painful lesson—but also reminded her that no matter what happened, Mommy was always just a heartbeat away.
