Santa Can Walk, But Still Needs Help

Baby monkey Santa is growing up, and now he’s old enough to start exploring the world on his own little feet. His steps are wobbly but determined, showing that he’s trying hard to become more independent. But even with this progress, Santa still needs a lot of human help for the simplest things.

Each morning, he wakes up wrapped in his soft blanket and waits patiently until his caregiver comes to carry him out. He could walk on his own, but he prefers to be lifted—he feels safe and loved that way. During feeding time, Santa holds the bottle himself, but only if someone is nearby encouraging him. If left alone, he’ll drop it and cry out until help comes running.

When it’s time for a short walk in the yard, Santa takes a few steps, then stops, looking back with wide eyes for his caregiver. He wants to be brave, but he still fears being alone. He clings to legs, holds onto arms, and even climbs up for cuddles whenever possible.

Bath time is another challenge. Though he knows what to expect, Santa needs someone to gently guide him into the warm water and reassure him that everything is okay. Afterward, he won’t sit still for drying unless he’s wrapped tightly in a towel and rocked for a bit.

Despite being old enough to walk and explore, Santa’s heart still needs comfort, closeness, and security. He may be taking small steps toward independence, but emotional support is still a big part of his world.

Watching him grow is both sweet and touching—a reminder that even the strongest little ones need love and patience as they find their way. Santa may walk on his own soon, but for now, human care is still his biggest support.
