Little baby monkey Koma was having a very emotional morning. All he wanted was a simple cuddle from his friend Bebe. After waking up from a short nap, Koma toddled over with his tiny arms stretched, looking for comfort. But Bebe, full of energy and not in the mood for hugs, turned away and kept playing with her toy leaf.
This small rejection felt huge to baby Koma. His lips trembled, his tiny fists clenched, and then came the heartbreaking cries. Koma screamed so loudly that even the birds in the trees paused. His little face was full of sadness and frustration, and he stomped his feet on the ground, as if trying to say, “Why won’t you hug me, Bebe?”
Bebe looked back for a moment, a little confused, not realizing how much her simple action had hurt her friend. Meanwhile, their caretaker gently picked up Koma, cradling him in their arms. Koma buried his face, tears still falling, but slowly calming down from the warmth and love.
Eventually, Bebe came closer again, this time slowly reaching out to touch Koma’s hand. The two baby monkeys sat side by side, not quite cuddling yet—but closer. Sometimes, even among baby monkeys, emotions run high. But love and friendship always find their way back.
