Little Luna was always adventurous—climbing low shelves, swinging from towels, and exploring every corner of the house. But that day, her bravery took her a bit too far.
She had just managed to climb onto the edge of a small wooden stool in the corner. It was wobbly, tall for her tiny legs, and far from her mother’s reach. Luna stood there proudly, tail flicking with excitement.
But then, the stool shifted.
Luna’s balance tipped. Her eyes went wide.
And before anything could happen, she let out the loudest, sharpest cry she had ever made.
“EEEEEEEK!”
Her mother, just a few steps away, turned at lightning speed. The panic in Luna’s cry was enough to send her racing forward. With her arms stretched out, she swooped in just in time—catching Luna under her arms right as the stool tipped over.
Luna’s heart pounded, and her body trembled in her mother’s grasp. Her tiny hands wrapped tightly around Mom’s neck as she let out shaky sobs between hiccups. She wasn’t hurt, but the fear had hit her hard.
Mom held her close, rocking side to side. “It’s okay, baby. You’re safe now. Mommy’s got you.”
Luna clung tighter, burying her face into her mom’s chest. Slowly, her crying softened. Her brave moment had turned into a scary one—but love had caught her in time.
The stool lay sideways on the floor, a quiet reminder that even the boldest babies need help sometimes.
And Luna, still sniffly, knew one thing for sure:
No adventure was worth more than the safety of Mom’s arms. 💞🐒
