It was a peaceful afternoon in the backyard. Daddy monkey was sitting calmly, slicing up a fresh, juicy papaya for snack time. The sweet scent floated through the air, making Chamroeun’s mouth water. He sat nearby, patiently waiting with big, hopeful eyes and twitching fingers.
But someone wasn’t in the mood for sharing — and definitely not for waiting.
Minea, the mischievous little monkey with a glint of trouble in her eyes, had been watching silently from behind the table. As Daddy focused on the fruit, and Chamroeun fixated on each falling slice, Minea slowly crawled forward like a stealthy little ninja.
Then—
CHOMP!
She suddenly grabbed Chamroeun’s leg and gave it a sneaky pull, followed by a playful — yet sharp — bite!
“EEEYAAAHH!” Chamroeun shrieked, jumping up and tumbling backward in shock. His wide eyes turned into furious squints.
“MINEA!”
Minea cackled with glee, tail whipping in excitement. She clapped her hands and darted to the side, clearly proud of her attack.
Daddy turned around just in time to see the chaos.
“Hey! No biting, Minea!” he scolded, scooping her up before she could run again. She made an innocent face, tilting her head like she had done nothing wrong — her signature move.
Meanwhile, Chamroeun sat rubbing his leg, dramatically whimpering and casting dagger looks at her.
To fix the situation, Daddy handed each of them a fat slice of papaya — one to eat, and one to calm their monkey drama.
Chamroeun grumbled but accepted it.
Minea, of course, smirked in victory.
Because in her mischievous little mind, even a bitey ambush was worth it — as long as there was papaya at the end. 🐒😈🍽️
