Drama Queen Lyka Screams During Bath

The bathroom echoed with high-pitched squeals and splashes. Little Lyka, a moody baby monkey with fluffy cheeks and a huge personality, had entered full drama mode.

It was bath time — and she was not having it.

At first, her caretaker tried the soft, gentle approach. “Come on, Lyka, warm water… just a quick rinse,” she whispered while pouring water slowly onto Lyka’s back.

But Lyka had other plans.

The moment her tiny feet touched the water, her eyes widened like saucers. She grabbed the side of the tub, arched her back, and let out a scream so loud, it could have been heard two villages away.

“Eeeeeeeeh!” she wailed, shaking her head with wild, theatrical flair.

She splashed, kicked, and thrashed — tiny arms flying in all directions. Soap bubbles stuck to her nose. Her wet hair stood up in crazy tufts. It looked like a wild jungle concert and Lyka was the lead singer.

Her caretaker couldn’t help laughing. “Oh no, the drama queen has arrived again!”

Lyka screamed even louder in protest, as if offended. She pointed at the sponge like it was her worst enemy.

But then… a tiny rubber duck floated by.

She paused.

One eye opened.

She poked it. It squeaked.

Suddenly, the world wasn’t ending anymore. Lyka grabbed the duck, hugged it, and sat back down with a confused but quiet pout. Her screams turned into sniffs, then silence.

The bath continued without chaos.

By the end, she was snuggled in a warm towel, grumbling under her breath while her caretaker kissed her forehead. “You survived, little drama queen.”
