Morning Bath for Baby Ricky

The sun had just peeked through the trees, casting golden light over the quiet home. Birds chirped softly outside, and the air smelled fresh and calm. Inside, baby monkey Ricky stretched in his little hammock, blinking sleepily as the warm rays touched his face.

“Time for your morning bath, little one,” Mama whispered, lifting him gently.

Ricky gave a tiny yawn, his hair all messy, sticking up like a fuzzy dandelion. He clung to his mom’s chest as she carried him to the washbasin filled with warm, soapy water. Steam rose up, and the bubbles danced in the air like little stars.

“Splash time,” Mama smiled, dipping his feet in first.

Ricky squeaked and twitched — it was always ticklish at first! Then slowly, he relaxed, letting the warmth hug his tiny body.

Mama used a soft cloth, gently rubbing behind his ears, under his chin, and between his tiny fingers. Ricky closed his eyes, leaning into her touch, letting out happy little coos. She washed his fluffy tummy and tail, making sure no sleep dust was left behind.

At one point, Ricky reached out with both hands and grabbed a floating bubble. It popped right on his nose!

He blinked, surprised, then giggled.

“Cheeky boy,” Mama laughed softly, wiping his nose and planting a kiss on his damp forehead.

Once clean, she wrapped him in a cozy yellow towel, holding him close to her chest. Ricky cuddled in, now fully awake but perfectly calm.

Mama rocked him near the window, where morning light warmed their fur. Ricky sighed and gave a soft hum of contentment.

There was no rush, no noise — just a quiet moment of love, comfort, and care
