Rescuing a Poor Newborn Baby Monkey From Local Farmers

It was early morning when rescuers received a call from a nearby village: a newborn baby monkey had been found by local farmers after his mother was reportedly chased off during a crop raid. Alone, trembling, and just hours old, the baby had been placed in a cardboard box with old cloth and left under a shaded tree.

When the rescue team arrived, they found him—tiny, barely moving, with his eyes shut tight and his skin still wrinkled from birth. His breaths were faint, his body cold. The farmers had meant no harm, but didn’t know how fragile newborn monkeys truly were.

The lead rescuer knelt beside the box and gently lifted the baby out. “Oh, little one… you’re so small,” she whispered, holding him close against her chest to share warmth.

Without hesitation, they rushed him back to the rescue center.

There, the team prepared a soft incubator, warmed a baby blanket, and began feeding him with a tiny bottle of special formula. At first, he struggled, letting out weak, broken cries—searching for the comfort of his mother’s arms.

But slowly, with gentle care and love, his breathing became steadier. He nuzzled into the blanket, curling his fingers and tail as if trying to feel safe again.

The rescuers named him Lucky—because despite being taken from the wild and nearly left alone, he had been given a second chance.

Now, Lucky is safe, growing stronger day by day. Though his mother is gone, he is surrounded by kind hands, warm hearts, and soft voices that promise he’ll never be alone again.

In a world where many pass by, someone chose to care—and that made all the difference.
