Little Titas had been doing so well with his potty training lately. Mom had been so proud of him, even giving him extra cuddles and fruit treats every time he used his spot like a big monkey.
But today… things didn’t go quite as planned.
Titas was playing with his toy ball, bouncing around the room full of energy and excitement. He was so focused on the game that he ignored the funny feeling in his tummy. He paused for a second, then kept playing. And just like that—plop!
Right there on the clean floor, Titas had a big accident. 😬
The room went silent for a moment. Titas turned around slowly and saw… Mom. She was standing with her hands on her hips, looking at him with raised eyebrows.
Titas’ big mouth dropped open in shock. He didn’t mean to! His little face turned red, and his lips trembled. Then came the most dramatic, guilty baby face ever.
He tiptoed toward Mom, dragging his feet, eyes wide and teary. His bottom lip stuck out as he reached for her hand, letting out a tiny squeak that clearly meant: “I’m sorry, Mom…”
Mom couldn’t stay mad. How could she? Titas looked like a cartoon character full of regret. She gently wiped his tears and gave him a soft hug.
“Next time, let’s try to tell me, okay?” she said kindly.
Titas nodded quickly, still sniffling, but grateful for forgiveness. He even helped clean the spot (in his own baby monkey way), trying to show he was a big boy after all.
Every monkey makes mistakes—what matters is learning from them.
