It was just a normal afternoon when little baby Lola wandered a bit too far from her safe space. Curious and playful, she had no idea danger was near.
From the shadows, a large stray dog appeared—growling low, eyes locked on the tiny monkey. Before Lola could even run, the dog lunged. A sharp, terrifying yelp filled the air as Lola was bitten, her small body flung to the ground.
She screamed in agony.

Lola whimpered softly, eyes half-closed, her tiny fingers twitching as if reaching for help.
A vet arrived quickly. Injections, stitches, and care followed. It was a long night. No one left her side. They whispered soft words of comfort, hoping she could feel the love through her pain.
By morning, she opened her eyes.
She was weak, but she had survived.
