Little Jasmine was feeling restless. Her tiny stomach grumbled as she searched for her favorite food—bananas! She had been waiting all morning, hoping Mom would bring her a sweet, ripe one. But the wait felt like forever, and Jasmine was getting more and more impatient.
She scampered around, her big eyes scanning every corner. No banana. She squeaked in frustration, her tiny hands gripping her belly as if to tell the world just how hungry she was. Her little feet pitter-pattered across the floor as she ran toward Mom, tugging at her arm with an urgent cry.
“Where’s my banana?!” she seemed to say, her face scrunched up in desperation.
Mom looked at her, amused by her dramatic expression. She reached out and stroked Jasmine’s head, but that wasn’t what the little monkey wanted. Jasmine pouted, crossing her arms as she let out a tiny squeal. She needed her banana—right now!
Finally, Mom picked up a bright yellow banana and peeled it slowly. Jasmine’s eyes lit up instantly. She clapped her little hands, bouncing on her toes with excitement. When Mom handed it to her, she grabbed it quickly and took a big bite.
The sweet, soft fruit melted in her mouth, and she let out a happy squeak. She chewed quickly, taking another eager bite, savoring the delicious taste. The world finally felt right again!
With her belly getting full, Jasmine’s mood changed completely. She sat back, happily nibbling the last piece, her earlier frustration forgotten. All she needed was her favorite banana—and now, she was the happiest little monkey in the world.
