Little Lina was not happy today. She loved being held by her mom and cuddled in her warm arms. But when Mom gently placed her down, she refused to accept it!
As soon as her tiny feet touched the ground, Lina’s dramatic side took over. She let out a high-pitched scream, threw herself onto the floor, and started rolling around in frustration.
Mom watched with patience, knowing this little tantrum wouldn’t last long. But Lina wasn’t ready to give up yet! She kicked her tiny legs, waved her arms, and pouted as if the whole world had betrayed her.
Other baby monkeys peeked over, curious about all the noise. Some even looked amused—Lina always found a way to make a scene!
After a few moments, she paused, sneaking a glance at Mom to see if she was watching. But Mom simply smiled and waited. No reaction? That wasn’t part of Lina’s plan!
So, she let out one last dramatic cry, flopped onto her back, and covered her face with her tiny hands. “Mom, how could you do this to me?!”
But when she realized Mom wasn’t picking her up, her tantrum slowly faded. With a big sigh, she crawled over and clung to Mom’s leg, looking up with those big, round eyes.
Mom chuckled, finally scooping her up. Lina had won—again! But deep down, she knew that no matter what, Mom would always be there to hold her.
