Little PorPor loved to climb. She was always eager to explore, using her tiny hands and feet to grip branches and swing like a brave little monkey. But today, things didn’t go as planned.
She had climbed a little higher than usual, feeling proud of herself. But then—her tiny foot slipped!
For a split second, she dangled helplessly, her heart pounding in fear. She managed to grab onto a branch, but the scare was too much.
PorPor’s eyes filled with tears. Her lips quivered, and then—
“WAAAAAHHH!”
The heartbreaking cry echoed through the trees. She clung to the branch, shaking, her little body frozen with fear. She was too scared to move, too afraid she might fall again.
Mom heard the cries and rushed over. “PorPor! What’s wrong, baby?” she called, but PorPor just sobbed louder, shaking her head.
She wouldn’t let go of the tree. She didn’t trust the ground anymore!
Mom gently reached out, wrapping her arms around PorPor and lifting her down safely. “It’s okay, sweetheart. I’ve got you,” she whispered, hugging her tight.
But PorPor was still heartbroken. She buried her face in mom’s chest, sobbing dramatically. What if she had fallen? What if she had gotten hurt?
Mom kissed her tiny head. “You’re safe now. You’re my brave little climber.”
After a few minutes, PorPor finally calmed down, sniffling as she peeked at the tree again. Maybe next time, she’d be more careful.
For now, she just wanted to stay in mom’s arms—where she felt the safest in the world.
