The afternoon was peaceful—until Yuri and Minea clashed again!
Earlier that day, Minea had snatched Yuri’s banana and shoved her aside, making the smaller monkey cry in frustration. Yuri had sulked in a corner, her tiny hands clenched into fists. But now, she wasn’t going to let it slide.
With determination in her eyes, Yuri stomped toward Minea, who was happily munching on a new snack. Without warning, Yuri lunged forward and yanked Minea’s tail hard!
“Eeeek!” Minea screeched, dropping her snack in shock. She spun around, eyes wide with anger.
Yuri, feeling victorious, crossed her arms and huffed. “That’s what you get!”
But Minea wasn’t one to back down. She pounced on Yuri, grabbing her tiny arm.
“You little brat!” Minea growled, trying to pin Yuri down.
Yuri shrieked and clawed back, pulling at Minea’s fur. The two rolled around in a chaotic ball of fur, tails, and tiny hands slapping wildly!
Their high-pitched screams echoed through the yard, attracting the attention of their mother.
“Enough!” Mom’s loud voice boomed as she rushed in to separate them.
Minea and Yuri froze, panting hard.
Mom gave them both a firm glare. “You two need to stop fighting!” she scolded. “Apologize—NOW.”
Both little monkeys looked away, still fuming. Minea rubbed her sore tail, while Yuri wiped her scratched arm.
After a long pause, Yuri mumbled, “Sorry…” and Minea sighed, replying, “Me too.”
Mom sighed in relief and pulled them both into a hug. “No more fights, okay?”
The sisters nodded—but deep down, they both knew… this wasn’t over!
