Jula was always full of energy. She loved jumping, running, and playing all day long. But sometimes, she got too rough, especially when playing with her younger sibling, little Kobie.
One afternoon, Jula and Kobie were playing on the wooden bed inside their home. Kobie, much smaller and more delicate, was happily clapping his tiny hands, enjoying the game. But Jula, feeling extra playful, started pushing and pulling him too hard. She laughed as she tugged on Kobie’s tiny arms, making him wobble.
Kobie let out a small cry, looking at their mom for help. But Jula was too caught up in her game to notice. She playfully shoved him again, making him fall onto the soft blanket.
“Stop, Jula!!” Their mom’s voice rang out.
Jula froze, her wide eyes looking up. Their mom, Ginger, was standing nearby, her finger pointed firmly at Jula. “That’s too rough! You’re not being gentle with your little brother.”
Jula pouted, crossing her arms. “But we’re just playing, Mom!” she protested.
Ginger shook her head. “You’re bigger, Jula. You have to be careful. Kobie is small, and you could hurt him.”
Kobie sniffled, rubbing his tiny hands together. He didn’t want to play rough—he just wanted to have fun with his big sister.
Seeing this, Jula sighed. She crawled over to Kobie and gently patted his head. “Sorry, little bro… I didn’t mean to.”
Their mom smiled, watching them. “That’s better,” she said. “Now, play nicely.”
Jula nodded and hugged Kobie. This time, she played gently, making sure he was happy.
And just like that, the two siblings continued their fun—without any more trouble.
