Alan, the Pitiful Orphan, Takes a Gentle Shower

Alan, the tiny orphaned baby monkey, sat on the bathroom floor, his fragile body shivering slightly. His big, round eyes were filled with sadness, and his little fingers clutched his chest as if trying to comfort himself. Today was his first bath since being rescued, and his new human mom wanted to make sure he was warm and clean.

She gently turned on the tap, letting the water run at a comfortable temperature. Alan flinched at the sound, his tiny body tensing. He had never experienced such care before—his life before this had been full of hardship, loneliness, and struggle.

His mom slowly cupped some warm water in her hands and let it trickle down Alan’s fur. The baby monkey blinked, his face filled with uncertainty. He was still scared, still unsure of this new life, but as the warmth spread across his body, he began to relax.

“You’re okay, sweetheart,” his mom whispered, rubbing a soft cloth over his back. Alan let out a tiny whimper but did not resist. His body was so small and weak, covered in dirt from his rough past. His rescuer’s heart ached for him.

As the bath continued, Alan’s eyes softened. He started to trust the gentle hands washing him. When his mom carefully massaged his little head, he let out a soft sigh. The warm water soothed his aching body, washing away not just the dirt but also a small piece of the sadness he carried.

By the time the bath was over, Alan was wrapped in a warm towel, his tiny body nestled safely in his mom’s arms. He looked up at her with tired but trusting eyes. For the first time in a long while, Alan felt safe.
