In the heart of the jungle, a tiny baby monkey named Kiki sat on a low branch, his big round eyes filled with sadness. His little body shivered as he clung to the tree, letting out soft cries.
The other monkeys swung and played, but Kiki just sat there, lonely and afraid. He had been separated from his mother during a storm the night before. Now, he didn’t know where to go.
A kind older monkey, Luma, noticed him and quickly climbed over. “Oh dear, little one, what happened?” she asked gently, stroking his tiny head.
Kiki sniffled. “I… I lost my mama,” he whispered, his voice trembling.
Luma’s heart ached. She knew the jungle could be scary for a baby alone. She gently picked him up and held him close. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. You are not alone. We will take care of you.”
The other monkeys gathered around, offering food and warmth. One brought a soft leaf for Kiki to rest on, while another playfully tickled his tiny hands. Slowly, Kiki’s tears dried, and a small smile appeared on his face.
Just then, a familiar voice called out from the trees. “Kiki!”
Kiki’s ears perked up. “Mama?”
His mother rushed through the branches, her eyes wide with worry. The moment she saw Kiki, she scooped him into her arms, hugging him tightly. “Oh, my precious baby! I was looking everywhere for you!”
Kiki nuzzled into her fur, feeling safe again. The other monkeys cheered, happy to see the little one back with his mama.
As the sun set, Kiki curled up in his mother’s arms, surrounded by love. He had been lost, but now he was home.
