In a cozy corner of the jungle, a little baby monkey named Luna was upset. She sat on the soft moss, her face scrunched up as her cries echoed through the trees. Her tiny fists waved in the air, demanding attention. Luna’s cries were so loud, even the birds paused in mid-flight.
Luna’s mother, Mira, was trying to take a bath in a nearby stream, enjoying the refreshing water as it splashed over her fur. But Luna’s cries were getting louder and louder, making it impossible for Mira to relax.
“Luna, please!” Mira called out, her voice filled with frustration. “I’m right here! What’s wrong, sweet baby?”
But Luna didn’t stop crying. Her little heart was upset, and she couldn’t calm down. Mira sighed, wiping the water from her face, and climbed out of the stream. She wrapped herself in a big leaf, then walked over to her daughter with a mix of worry and annoyance.
“I can’t take a bath in peace, can I?” Mira muttered under her breath.
As she approached Luna, she saw the problem. Luna’s little milk bottle had fallen into the dirt and was covered in mud. Luna’s cries intensified at the sight of her empty bottle.
“Oh no,” Mira said softly, picking up the bottle and wiping it clean. “Let’s fix this.”
She filled the bottle with fresh, warm milk and handed it to Luna, who immediately stopped crying. The little monkey clutched the bottle with both hands, her tears fading as she drank contentedly.
Mira sat down beside her, smiling despite the chaos. “There we go, my sweet girl. Let’s try this again,” she whispered, finally able to relax with Luna by her side.
