In a small, bustling jungle, a young monkey named Miko loved to swing through the trees, laughing and playing with his friends. His fur was soft, and his eyes sparkled with mischief. But today, something was different. Miko wasn’t swinging. He sat quietly on a branch, gazing down at the ground below.
“Miko!” called his best friend, Tia, a bright-eyed squirrel. “What happened, baby?”
Miko’s tiny hands gripped the branch tighter. “I fell,” he murmured. “I tried to swing from the big tree, but I couldn’t make it.”
Tia scampered up the tree and sat beside him. “Don’t worry, you’re strong. You can try again!”
Miko shook his head. “I’m scared. What if I fall again?”
Tia nuzzled him gently. “You’re not alone, Miko. I’ll be right here to cheer you on. You know what they say, right? ‘The best way to fall is to get back up.’”
Miko blinked at her, still unsure. His small heart pounded in his chest. Tia could see the worry in his eyes.
Just then, the jungle echoed with the sound of laughter. It was his mother, a wise and gentle monkey, swinging gracefully from branch to branch. She landed softly beside Miko.
“Sweetheart, are you okay?” she asked, noticing his hesitation.
“I’m afraid, Mama,” Miko confessed.
His mother smiled and held him close. “It’s okay to be afraid, but remember, love will catch you. I’ll always be here.”
Miko smiled, feeling warmth flood his chest. “Okay, Mama. I’ll try again.”
And with that, Miko swung from the branch, his fears melting away as he soared through the air, knowing that love would always lift him higher.
