Tiny Kasky, a newborn baby monkey, had always been full of energy, clinging tightly to his caretaker’s fingers and snuggling into the warmth of his blankets. But one morning, something was different. His tiny body felt weak, and his once-bright eyes looked dull. Kasky refused to drink his milk, and his little belly appeared bloated. His caretaker, Sarah, felt a wave of worry wash over her.

She gently picked him up, feeling the warmth of his feverish body. “Oh, Kasky, what’s wrong, little one?” she whispered. She knew that baby monkeys, like human babies, were vulnerable to illnesses. Without hesitation, Sarah wrapped Kasky in a soft towel and rushed him to the veterinarian.

The doctor carefully examined Kasky and soon delivered the troubling news—Kasky had worms. The parasites were making it hard for him to digest food, stealing the nutrients his tiny body needed to grow. If left untreated, it could be dangerous.

Determined to save him, Sarah followed the doctor’s instructions. She gave Kasky a deworming medicine, comforting him as he squirmed from the bitter taste. Over the next few days, she stayed by his side, keeping him warm, feeding him small amounts of milk, and ensuring he had plenty of rest.

Slowly, Kasky started to recover. His tiny fingers grasped Sarah’s hand once more, his soft chirps returning as a sign of trust. With love and care, the little monkey overcame his sickness, proving he was a true fighter.

Sarah smiled, watching Kasky nibble on a piece of banana. “You’re going to be okay, little one,” she whispered. Kasky looked up at her with bright, grateful eyes—he had found not just a home, but a loving family.
