NB had never seen a place like this before. His tiny hands gripped the soft fabric of his human brother’s shirt as he looked around with wide, curious eyes. The home was much bigger than the cozy nest he had once known, filled with new sights, smells, and sounds.
His human brother, Leo, smiled down at him and gently placed him on the floor. At first, NB hesitated, his little feet barely touching the smooth surface. But curiosity got the best of him. With tiny, wobbly steps, he started exploring.
Leo laughed as NB tried to climb onto a soft pillow, his tiny tail flicking in excitement. “Come on, little guy!” Leo encouraged, holding out his hand. NB jumped into Leo’s palm, gripping his fingers tightly as if asking for guidance.
As they moved through the house, NB discovered new things—a fluffy rug that felt strange under his feet, a shiny mirror that showed a tiny monkey staring back at him, and a couch that seemed too high to climb. But with Leo by his side, he wasn’t afraid.
After a while, NB started to get tired. He reached out for Leo, who picked him up and cradled him gently. The warmth and kindness in Leo’s arms reminded him of the safety of a mother’s embrace. He yawned, his tiny body curling up against Leo’s chest.
As he drifted off to sleep, NB knew one thing for sure—this new home was different, but it was filled with love. And with his human brother by his side, he was ready for all the adventures to come.
