Monkey Lyly, full of energy and curiosity, had always loved riding her little bike. Today, though, she had pushed her luck. While her mother was carefully guiding her along the path, Lyly’s adventurous spirit got the best of her. Seeing something shiny on the roadside, she suddenly leapt off the moving bike without warning.

The wheels wobbled, and her little legs landed clumsily on the pavement. Luckily, she didn’t fall too hard, but it was enough to make her mom pull the bike to a screeching stop.

“Lyly!” her mother exclaimed, rushing over to her. The mixture of concern and frustration was evident in her tone. “Why did you jump off like that? That’s so dangerous!”

Lyly stood there, her wide eyes staring at her mom with a mix of guilt and defiance. She fidgeted with her tiny hands, unsure how to respond.

“I told you to stay seated while the bike is moving,” her mom continued, her voice firmer now. “What if you had hurt yourself badly or fallen into the road?”

Lyly pouted, her tail twitching nervously. She looked down at her little feet, realizing her mom was right, but still too stubborn to admit it out loud.

Her mom crouched down to meet her eye level, softening her tone. “I just want to keep you safe, Lyly. I love you, and I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.”

Hearing her mother’s words, Lyly’s face softened. She reached out and hugged her mom tightly, making a soft, apologetic noise.

After a moment, her mom smiled and patted her back. “Alright, let’s try again. But this time, no jumping, okay?”

Lyly nodded enthusiastically, climbing back onto her bike. As they rode on, she held onto the handlebars a little tighter, determined to prove she could be a good rider. 🐒🚲💛
