The afternoon was supposed to be peaceful, but baby monkey Harry had other plans. Perched on the small table, his tiny legs dangling, Harry had just been placed there by his mom while she stepped away for a moment to grab something from the kitchen. That tiny moment was enough to trigger chaos.

The instant Harry realized he was alone, his little face twisted with fury. A sharp, ear-piercing scream erupted from his tiny mouth, breaking the silence. His body tensed as he flailed his arms and legs, his tiny fists pounding on the table.

How could she leave me here? his cries seemed to demand.

Harry’s frustration only grew as his mom didn’t immediately return. His body began shaking dramatically, and he threw his head back, letting out another round of sharp, angry screams. Tears streamed down his face, soaking the little shirt he wore.

Hearing the commotion, his mom hurried back, holding a bottle of milk. “Harry, baby, what’s wrong now?” she asked, but Harry wasn’t in the mood for explanations.

As soon as he saw her, his tantrum reached new heights. He let out a sharp convulsion-like shudder, his cries filled with both anger and sadness. His tiny hands reached out, demanding to be picked up immediately.

His mom quickly placed the milk on the table and scooped him into her arms. “Oh, Harry, you’re such a dramatic little boy,” she said with a soft laugh, kissing his forehead.

The moment he was in her arms, Harry’s screams softened into sniffles. He clung to her tightly, his tail curling around her arm.

For Harry, being left alone was unbearable, but being back in his mom’s embrace made everything in his tiny world right again.
