Sleepy Baby Monpai

It was a quiet afternoon in the forest, and little Monpai had been playing non-stop since morning. He climbed trees, swung on vines, and even chased butterflies. Now, as the sun dipped lower, his energy began to fade.

Monpai rubbed his eyes with his tiny hands, letting out a long, soft yawn. His mom noticed and smiled warmly. “Monpai, are you sleepy?” she asked, crouching down to his level.

Monpai tried to deny it, shaking his head, but his drooping eyelids gave him away. He leaned against his mom’s arm, mumbling something that sounded like “not tired” before yawning again.

Mom scooped him up gently, cradling him in her arms. “Alright, little one, time to rest. You’ve had a big day,” she whispered soothingly.

Monpai snuggled into her chest, letting out a content sigh. His tiny fingers clutched her fur as he closed his eyes. Mom swayed side to side, humming a gentle tune, and within moments, Monpai was fast asleep.

The forest seemed quieter as the baby monkey’s soft breathing mixed with the rustling of leaves. Nearby, other monkeys smiled at the sight of the sleepy little Monpai, dreaming peacefully in his mother’s arms.
