It was a sunny afternoon on the farm, and Minea, the playful young monkey, was exploring as usual. Her curious nature often got her into trouble, but today, she found something particularly interesting—a group of tiny, fluffy chicks waddling after their mother hen.
Minea couldn’t resist their cuteness. She crouched down, inching closer to the little chicks, her eyes sparkling with delight. The chicks chirped softly, unaware of the mischief brewing. Minea reached out her tiny hand to gently poke at one of them, giggling at their soft feathers.
But Mommy Chicken was no fool. She clucked loudly, her sharp eyes narrowing as she spotted Minea getting too close. The protective mother flapped her wings aggressively, rushing at Minea with an intimidating squawk.
Startled, Minea jumped back, but her mischievous streak got the better of her. She tried again, this time reaching out for another chick. This only made Mommy Chicken angrier. With a flurry of feathers, she launched herself at Minea, pecking the air and clucking furiously.
Minea screeched in surprise, tumbling backward and scrambling to her feet. She ran a few paces away, looking back at the angry hen with a mix of shock and frustration. The hen, now satisfied that her chicks were safe, gathered them close and ushered them away from the troublemaker.
Feeling both scolded and defeated, Minea climbed up a nearby tree to sulk. She watched the mother hen and her chicks from a safe distance, her curiosity now replaced with caution.
This was a lesson Minea wouldn’t forget anytime soon: some boundaries should never be crossed—especially when it comes to a protective mom!
