It was a quiet morning in the small, cozy home nestled by the forest. Baby monkey Annie woke up early, her tiny chirps echoing through the room. Her mother had gone out for the day to gather fruits, leaving her in the care of her father.
“Looks like it’s just us today, Annie,” her dad said with a smile, scooping her up in his arms. Annie clung to him, her soft fur warm against his chest.
The morning began with playtime, but soon Annie started to squirm. She made a little face and let out a squeaky cry, signaling she wasn’t comfortable. “Uh-oh,” her dad said, sniffing the air. “I think someone needs a diaper change.”
Setting her down gently on a soft blanket, he gathered the supplies: a clean diaper, some water, and a soft cloth. Annie wiggled, her tiny hands reaching for the cloth as if to “help.”
“Hold still, sweetheart,” her dad chuckled. Carefully, he cleaned her up, making sure she was comfortable. Annie let out a giggle as the cool water touched her belly, her bright eyes watching her dad’s every move.
Once the new diaper was secured, her dad gave her a little tickle on the tummy. “There! Good as new!” he said, lifting her into his arms. Annie squealed in delight, wrapping her arms around his neck.
The rest of the day was filled with cuddles, bottle feeding, and short naps. Her dad sang her a soft tune as he rocked her to sleep in his arms. By the time her mom returned, Annie was snuggled up on her dad’s chest, peacefully dreaming.
