Little baby monkey wanted to learn climbing today.
The tall tree looked exciting at first, and everyone hoped the tiny baby would become brave enough to climb like the older monkeys.
Mom gently encouraged him closer to the tree trunk.
At first, the little baby touched the bark curiously with tiny hands, looking upward with wide hopeful eyes.
Maybe he could do it.
Slowly—
He tried climbing.
One tiny step.
Then another.
But suddenly his little feet slipped.
“AHHH!”
The baby lost balance immediately and clung awkwardly to the tree before sliding back down in complete panic.
Poor baby looked shocked.
Embarrassed.
And very upset.
He stared at the tree like it had betrayed him personally before bursting into emotional crying. Tiny tears rolled down his cheeks while he screamed loudly in frustration over his failed climbing attempt.
No bravery anymore.
Only drama.
Mom quickly came closer, softly comforting the tiny baby while rubbing his little back gently.
“It’s okay, baby…”
But the baby kept crying sadly for a moment, clearly disappointed that climbing the tree was much harder than expected.
Finally, Mom cuddled him close until his loud cries slowly became tiny sniffles.
The scary tree no longer seemed fun right now.
But maybe one day—
After growing bigger and stronger—
The little baby would climb it proudly without fear.
