Little Ronaldo was already feeling moody when Mom gently placed him down for a moment.
“I’ll be right back, baby. I need to get your clothes,” she said softly before walking away.
But Ronaldo didn’t want “right back.”
The second he saw Mom leaving, his tiny face changed completely. His lips pushed into a huge pout, and his eyes followed her every step with growing panic and anger.
Then—
“AHHHHH!”
Ronaldo exploded into loud yelling.
His tiny body shook with emotion as he screamed angrily toward the room where Mom disappeared. Little hands waved dramatically while tears rolled quickly down his cheeks.
“MAMAAAA!”
He didn’t care about clothes.
He didn’t care about waiting.
He only cared that Mom had walked away from him.
Poor dramatic baby.
Ronaldo leaned backward while yelling louder and louder, acting as if Mom had abandoned him forever instead of just a few seconds. His tiny legs kicked against the floor while his angry cries filled the whole house.
Everyone nearby could hear how upset he was.
Mom quickly hurried back holding the clothes. “I’m here, Ronaldo!”
But Ronaldo kept crying for one more emotional moment, clearly wanting Mom to understand how unfair the waiting felt to his tiny heart.
Finally, Mom picked him up into warm arms.
Instant peace.
The loud yelling softened into tiny sniffles as Ronaldo buried his face against her chest, still pouting but finally calm again.
Mom smiled softly while dressing him carefully.
Because sometimes, for the moodiest little babies—
Even a few seconds without Mom feels completely unacceptable.
