The tiny baby monkey lay weakly on the ground, barely moving.
Usually full of energy and little noises, today he looked exhausted and fragile. His small body curled softly against the floor while faint cries escaped from his tired throat.
“Mm… ahh…”
The sound was so low.
So weak.
Almost heartbreaking to hear.
His little eyes searched slowly around him as if he was looking for someone very important—
Mom.
He wanted comfort.
Warmth.
Protection.
But instead, he remained lying there sadly, too sick and tired to even cry loudly anymore.
Poor little baby.
His tiny hands moved weakly across the ground while his breathing stayed slow and uneasy. Every soft sound he made carried loneliness and discomfort.
The room felt quiet except for his faint little cries.
Finally, Mom hurried over after hearing him.
“Oh baby…”
She quickly knelt beside him and gently lifted his weak little body into warm arms. The moment he felt her touch, the baby relaxed slightly, letting out tiny shaky sounds while cuddling closer.
Safe again.
Mom softly rubbed his back and held him carefully against her chest, giving him the comfort he had been searching for all along.
Little by little—
His weak cries softened.
His tense body relaxed.
And though he still felt sick, he no longer looked quite so frightened or alone.
Because sometimes, when tiny babies feel weak and unwell—
The thing they search for most is simply the comfort of Mom’s love nearby.
