Little Libe Cries on the Floor For Pick Her Up

Comments Off on Little Libe Cries on the Floor For Pick Her Up

Little Libe lay on the floor, her tiny body full of frustration and sadness.

She had already tried everything.

She reached up.

She called softly.

She waited.

But Mom was still busy.

And for Libe, that felt like the biggest heartbreak in the world.

Her small lips trembled, her eyes filled with tears, and then—

“AHHHH!”

She burst into loud crying, her voice echoing through the whole room. Tears rolled quickly down her cheeks as she kicked her little legs and waved her tiny hands toward Mom.

She didn’t want toys.

She didn’t want snacks.

She wanted one thing—

To be picked up.

Now.

“Mama! Mama!”

Her cries became sharper, more dramatic, as she rolled slightly on the floor, making sure her sadness was impossible to ignore. Her face turned red with emotion, and every second felt longer than the last.

Why wasn’t Mom coming?

Why was she still waiting?

To Libe, lying there alone felt like being forgotten.

She cried harder.

Louder.

Her little heart was shouting for comfort in the only way she knew how.

Mom looked over, trying to finish quickly. “Just a second, baby…”

But Libe did not accept “just a second.”

She needed warmth.

She needed arms.

She needed love right now.

Finally, seeing her tiny heartbreak spread all over the floor, Mom rushed over.

She bent down and lifted Libe into her arms.

Instantly, the storm changed.

The loud screams melted into soft sobs as Libe clung tightly, pressing her face against Mom’s shoulder like she had finally found home again.

“There you are,” Mom whispered, rocking her gently.

And Libe, still sniffling, held on like she never wanted to let go.

Because sometimes, a little one cries not because they are naughty—

But because being held feels like the whole world.
