The tiny newborn baby monkey lay quietly on a soft cloth. His little body was so small and fragile, still adjusting to the new world around him. Everything felt strange and unfamiliar.
Suddenly, the baby began to cry.
His voice was very soft at first, almost like a tiny whisper. “Ee… ee…” The newborn moved his little arms and legs weakly, trying to get someone’s attention. His small face looked worried, and his round eyes searched around for the comfort he needed.
But Mom wasn’t right beside him yet.
As the moments passed, the baby’s cries became more desperate. His tiny body trembled slightly while he tried to move. Being so young, he didn’t understand what was happening. All he knew was that he felt scared and needed warmth.
The little monkey’s body twitched as he cried harder, calling again and again for help.
Hearing the distressed sounds, Mom quickly rushed over. The moment she saw the tiny newborn struggling and crying, her heart filled with concern.
She gently picked him up and held him carefully against her chest.
The warmth of Mom’s body immediately began to calm the frightened baby. His tiny hands grabbed onto her fur while she softly rubbed his back. Mom whispered gently, trying to comfort him and make him feel safe again.
Slowly, the newborn’s cries began to soften.
His trembling body relaxed little by little as he felt the familiar warmth and protection. With Mom holding him close, the fear slowly faded away.
The tiny baby closed his eyes, resting peacefully at last.
Sometimes newborns cannot explain their pain or fear. They can only cry and hope Mom will hear them.
And this time, Mom came just in time to bring comfort and love.
