Newborn Ronaldo Cries for Mom’s Attention

Early in the quiet morning, tiny newborn Ronaldo lay on a soft blanket. His little body was still very small and fragile, and the world around him felt big and unfamiliar. The room was calm, but Ronaldo suddenly began to move and squirm.

Then the crying started.

“Ee… ee… ee…” His tiny voice grew louder as he waved his little hands in the air. Ronaldo’s round eyes searched around the room, hoping to see the one person he needed most—Mom.

But Mom wasn’t right beside him at that moment.

The newborn baby monkey felt confused and a little scared. Being so young, he didn’t understand why he was alone on the blanket. All he knew was that he wanted comfort, warmth, and the gentle touch he was used to.

So Ronaldo cried harder.

His little face wrinkled, and his small mouth opened wide as he called again and again. His tiny legs kicked softly, and his hands reached forward as if trying to grab someone who wasn’t there yet.

Across the room, Mom quickly heard the familiar cry.

She hurried over and gently picked up the tiny newborn. The moment Ronaldo felt her warm hands lifting him, his crying slowly softened. His little fingers grabbed onto Mom’s shirt as if he never wanted to let go.

Mom held him close to her chest, softly rubbing his back and whispering to calm him down.

Slowly, the loud cries turned into small sniffles.

Ronaldo rested his head against Mom’s shoulder, finally feeling safe again. His eyes began to close as the comfort he needed returned.

Sometimes newborn babies don’t need toys or food.

All they need is the loving attention of Mom—and that is exactly what little Ronaldo was crying for.
