The sun was just setting when baby monkey Mila came home from a short outdoor play. Her little fur was covered in bits of grass, her belly round and full after a fun day. She ran straight into the house, making tiny squeaky sounds, her tail swinging happily behind her.

Her mom looked up from preparing milk and smiled. “Welcome home, baby! Did you have fun outside?” But before Mom could even lift her, Mila let out an excited cry, jumping on the blanket and patting her tummy proudly. Then came the big announcement — her own baby-style chatter that everyone understood: she had just pooped!

The family couldn’t stop laughing. Mila sat with a proud little face, looking straight at her mom as if she had done something truly amazing. “Oh really?” the mom said playfully, pretending to be surprised. Mila nodded in her silly way, clapping her tiny hands and chirping as if to say, Yes, Mommy! I did it all by myself!

Mom gently picked her up and checked her diaper, laughing again. “You sure did, my clever girl,” she said lovingly. Mila snuggled close, her eyes full of joy and mischief. She wasn’t shy at all — in fact, she seemed proud of what she’d done!

After a quick clean-up, Mom wrapped her in a warm towel and gave her a soft kiss on the head. Mila giggled and grabbed her mom’s finger, squeaking happily. Soon after, she was sipping her warm milk, her little eyes growing sleepy.

As she drifted off to sleep, her mom smiled and whispered, “You’re growing up so fast, my little one.”

It was such a funny, simple moment — but in that moment, their home was filled with laughter, love, and warmth.

Because sometimes, even the smallest, silliest things — like a baby monkey proudly saying she pooped — can remind us how beautiful innocence truly is.
