Minea attacks Chamroeun

It was supposed to be a calm afternoon at the monkey nursery, but chaos suddenly broke out when Minea, known for her jealous and moody temper, lashed out at little Chamroeun.

Chamroeun, a sweet and playful baby monkey, had been quietly sitting near Dad, munching on a piece of fruit. Without warning, Minea jumped from behind, scratching his tiny arm and pulling his fur. Chamroeun screamed in fear, tumbling backward as his food dropped to the floor.

Dad rushed over immediately, heart pounding. “Minea, no!” he shouted, separating the two quickly. Chamroeun clung tightly to Dad’s arm, eyes wide and trembling, still letting out soft sobs. His tiny body shook as Dad gently examined the scratches — not deep, but enough to make the poor baby cry harder.

Minea stood at a distance, still grumbling, her tail flicking in irritation. She didn’t understand why Dad looked so upset with her. But Dad knew — Minea’s behavior came from jealousy. Ever since Chamroeun had joined the group, she’d felt left out, no longer the center of attention.

He sighed deeply, torn between worry for one baby and concern for the other. After cleaning Chamroeun’s tiny wound and comforting him with cuddles, Dad turned to Minea, speaking softly but firmly. “You must be gentle, Minea. We love you too, but hurting others is not okay.”

Later, when Chamroeun stopped crying, he peeked over at Minea, who sat quietly now, eyes lowered. In a touching moment, the two slowly approached each other. Chamroeun reached out his hand first — a sign of forgiveness.

Dad smiled, relieved. The tension eased, and love began to return. Because even naughty little monkeys sometimes just need a little understanding.
