Ninu cries and shakes in fear

Little Ninu was just a few weeks old — fragile, shy, and still learning to trust the world. It was her first bath day, and everyone thought she’d enjoy the warm water and gentle bubbles. But something went terribly wrong.

When the first splash of cold water touched her tiny fur, Ninu froze. Her little body stiffened, and her wide eyes filled with fear. Then came the cries — sharp, trembling cries that echoed through the room. She clung tightly to the towel, shaking uncontrollably, her breath coming fast.

The rescuer quickly realized something was wrong. “Oh no, baby! It’s too cold!” she whispered, wrapping Ninu tightly in a warm cloth. The tiny monkey whimpered, her lips trembling, and her whole body twitching from the shock. Her reaction was so strong it looked almost like a small seizure — her fear overwhelming her tiny heart.

She didn’t want to go near the basin again. Every time the rescuer brought the water closer, Ninu screamed and buried her face into her caretaker’s arm, refusing to move.

So instead of forcing her, the caretaker held her close, warming her up slowly. She stroked her head gently and hummed a soft tune. “It’s okay, my baby. No bath today. You’re safe.”

After a few minutes, Ninu stopped shaking. Her breathing softened, her eyes half-closed, and she pressed her tiny face against the warm skin that made her feel protected.

From that day on, her caretaker always checked the water twice — making sure it was soft, warm, and safe for her little heart.

Because for Ninu, love was warmer than any bath could ever be.
