The newborn baby monkey had been restless all morning, his tiny cries echoing through the quiet room. Still adjusting to life without his mother’s constant comfort, every little frustration felt enormous to him. When he grew hungry and impatient, his small body tensed up, and the tantrum began. His shrill cries filled the air, and with his little fists waving wildly, he accidentally scratched his own face.
The moment it happened, he froze for a second, then wailed even louder. His fragile skin, still soft and sensitive, reddened where his nails had grazed it. Daddy quickly rushed to him, scooping him gently into warm arms. “Shhh, baby, it’s okay,” Daddy whispered, rocking him softly to calm his trembling body.
Despite the soothing words, the little one continued to kick and squirm, his tiny face crumpled with frustration. He wanted milk, cuddles, and the warmth of reassurance all at once. Daddy carefully guided his hands away from his face and rubbed his back slowly. The crying began to soften, little by little, as the baby started to feel safe again.
Once the bottle of milk was placed in his mouth, his tantrum melted away. His eyes, still wet with tears, closed halfway in relief as he drank. Each gulp seemed to ease his worries, and soon his tiny hands unclenched, no longer scratching or flailing.
After finishing, the newborn nestled his head against Daddy’s chest. The earlier tantrum was forgotten, replaced by the comfort of love and care. Though his little face bore a faint scratch, his heart was calm once more, protected by the safety of gentle arms.
For such a small baby, every moment was a big challenge—but also a chance to learn trust, patience, and love.
