BonBon’s Big Tears: Where’s Daddy’s Love

Comments Off on BonBon’s Big Tears: Where’s Daddy’s Love

It was late afternoon, and baby monkey BonBon lay on the soft blanket-covered bed, his little fists clenched tight. His face was red, his eyes full of big, warm tears. He cried loud, heartbroken sobs — the kind that made anyone nearby stop in their tracks.

Daddy had walked past him. Twice.
BonBon couldn’t believe it.

All he wanted was a cuddle. Just a gentle pat on his back or even a smile. But Daddy seemed busy — folding clothes, talking on the phone, and not once looking at BonBon’s teary little face.

So BonBon did what he knew best — he cried.

He kicked his tiny feet. He screamed into the blanket. He even tossed his empty bottle off the bed with dramatic flair. “Notice me!” his little cries seemed to shout.

From the other room, Daddy finally heard the outburst and rushed in.
“What’s wrong, my boy?” he asked, surprised to see BonBon so upset.

BonBon didn’t answer. He just crossed his arms and turned away, sniffling with attitude.

Daddy sat beside him, slowly rubbing his back. “I’m sorry, I was busy, but I never forgot about you.” He gently lifted BonBon, placing him on his lap and wiping away the tears.

He held BonBon close, whispering, “You’re my sweet baby, always.”

BonBon slowly relaxed. The cries turned into quiet little hiccups. His tail wrapped around Daddy’s wrist. He leaned into the hug, soaking in the warmth and love.

Sometimes, all a baby monkey needs is to feel seen — and tonight, BonBon fell asleep in Daddy’s arms, finally at peace.
