Little baby Robby had been waiting all morning for his bottle. He was hungry, cranky, and ready to gulp down every last drop of milk the moment it arrived.
When the caretaker finally brought the warm bottle, Robby leaped forward like a rocket. His little hands grabbed it tightly, and he began to suck so fast it was like he hadn’t eaten in days. His tiny cheeks puffed in and out, his eyes wide with determination. He was focused—nothing else mattered but the milk.
But within minutes… something went wrong.
Robby started to shake. His arms wobbled, his body trembled, and he paused with a confused look on his face. Then came the burp… and the second… and then—splat.
He vomited right on the floor.
The bottle dropped from his hands as he looked down in surprise. He didn’t cry—just blinked, as if wondering what just happened. The caretaker rushed over, gently wiping his mouth and checking if he was okay.
Turns out, Robby had simply drunk too much, too fast.
The cold milk and his excitement overwhelmed his little belly. The shaking came from the sudden chill and his overeager rush. He wasn’t sick—just a little too greedy and not used to pacing himself.
After a rest, Robby curled up in a blanket and slowly licked a small spoon of milk this time, much calmer. He learned his lesson in his baby way.
Slow and steady wins the milk. 🐒🍼💤
