TanTan’s Morning Task: Milk Duty for ATong

The morning sun peeked through the trees, and the baby monkey enclosure slowly came to life. Birds chirped, leaves rustled, and little tails began to wiggle with energy. But today, TanTan wasn’t just any baby monkey—she had been given a special task.

Her job? Make sure ATong got his milk.

ATong, the youngest and most dramatic of the group, wasn’t always easy. He was sweet, but when he was hungry, the whole world knew it. If his bottle didn’t show up on time, he’d throw himself flat on the ground, wail, and kick until someone noticed.

TanTan took her new responsibility very seriously. She sat near the milk corner, watching carefully as the caretaker warmed up the bottle. Her eyes followed every move. When the bottle was ready, she gave a soft squeak—the signal to ATong.

But ATong was busy wrestling with a blanket. “ATong! Milk!” TanTan chirped, waving her hands. ATong paused, looked at her, then ran over with full-speed baby energy.

TanTan handed him the bottle like a proud little helper. ATong grabbed it, hugged it, and immediately started drinking, his eyes wide with joy. TanTan sat beside him, patting his back like a tiny guardian.

The caretaker smiled. For such a young monkey, TanTan showed amazing care and patience. She even cleaned ATong’s mouth with her hand when he made a mess, and gently rubbed his head while he drank.

It was a sweet, funny, and heartwarming moment—one baby monkey stepping up to care for another.

From that day on, everyone knew: TanTan was the morning milk captain. And ATong? He stopped crying every morning—because he knew his buddy had him covered. 🐒🍼💕
