Alpha’s Attitude Gets Him in Trouble

Alpha, the young and proud baby monkey, was known for his bold personality. Always the first to grab food, jump the highest, and make the loudest noise, he carried himself like the king of the baby troop. But today, his disrespectful behavior finally caught up with him.

It started in the morning during feeding time. While the other baby monkeys patiently waited, Alpha barged in, pushing his mate Koko out of the way and snatching the banana pieces meant for all. The caretakers gave him a warning look, but Alpha just gave a cheeky grin.

Later in playtime, he pulled another naughty stunt—climbing onto the caretaker’s shoulder without permission and trying to steal the milk bottle from her hand. Everyone was stunned. Even the older monkeys looked on with wide eyes.

But the final straw came when Alpha hissed at an elder monkey who tried to guide him back to the group. His loud screech and defiant stomp startled everyone.

That was it.

The lead caretaker gently but firmly separated Alpha from the others for some quiet time. No games. No treats. Just a little moment alone to think. Alpha sulked in the corner, fidgeting and clearly frustrated.

But as time passed, his energy shifted. He watched the others playing together, sharing food, and getting cuddles. Slowly, his proud eyes softened.

Later, he was given a chance to rejoin the group. This time, Alpha approached more calmly, offering a gentle touch to Koko and sitting quietly for milk.

He wasn’t perfect—but he was learning.

Sometimes even little kings need to be reminded: respect earns love, not just boldness.
