The tiny monkey siblings sat under the tree, their little stomachs rumbling. They had been waiting so long for Dad to bring food, but he was nowhere to be seen!
The youngest one, Miko, let out a tiny whimper, rubbing his belly. “Dad… where is our food?” he mumbled, looking at his sister, Lina, with teary eyes.
Lina wasn’t patient anymore. She stood up and screamed loudly, her tiny voice echoing through the trees.
“DADDY!!! WE’RE HUNGRY!”
Miko quickly joined in, crying loudly, their voices blending into a desperate call for help.
The other monkeys peeked over, curious about the noise. Some even giggled—these two were always so dramatic when they were hungry!
Just when Lina was about to throw a tantrum, Dad finally appeared!
He came swinging through the trees, holding a big bunch of bananas.
Miko’s eyes lit up, and Lina jumped with joy.
“FOOD!” they both cheered, running toward him.
Dad chuckled and peeled a banana, handing it to them. “You two are always so impatient!” he teased.
Lina took a huge bite, nodding quickly. “Because we’re starving, Dad!”
Miko stuffed his mouth, his cheeks puffing out like a little squirrel. “Mmm! So good!” he mumbled.
