The sun had just risen, and it was bath time—but one little monkey was not happy about it.
BB Monkey sat on the tree branch, arms crossed tightly, his tiny face scrunched up in a deep frown.
“I DON’T WANT A BATH!” he grumbled, kicking his tiny feet.
Mom stood below, holding a small tub of warm water. “Come on, BB, you need to get clean!” she coaxed.
But BB turned his back dramatically.
“No bath today, no bath tomorrow, NO BATH EVER!” he declared, shaking his head furiously.
Mom sighed and climbed up to get him. But the moment she reached for him—BB bolted!
He jumped to another branch, then another, giggling mischievously.
Mom wasn’t amused.
“BB… if you don’t come here now, I’ll tell everyone you smell bad!” she warned.
BB froze. His tiny nose twitched as he sniffed his fur.
Uh-oh… maybe he did stink a little.
Reluctantly, he slowly climbed down, pouting as Mom picked him up.
Mom placed him in the warm water, gently scrubbing his tiny arms. BB huffed but didn’t fight back.
By the time Mom rinsed him off, BB had calmed down completely.
She wrapped him in a fluffy towel, and to her surprise—he snuggled into her arms, yawning.
“See? That wasn’t so bad, was it?” she chuckled.
BB blinked sleepily, then muttered, “Still no bath tomorrow…” before dozing off.
