It was a warm afternoon in the jungle when two tiny baby monkeys, Lilo and Koko, were playing near the riverbank. They giggled and chased each other, swinging from tree to tree, enjoying their little adventure.
Suddenly, Lilo saw a long dried stick hanging between some branches. It looked fun to climb, so she called Koko over. Excited and curious, both little monkeys jumped onto the stick, giggling as they tried to balance.
But—SNAP! The weak stick broke from the tree and tilted dangerously! Before they could react, the two babies slid down and got stuck right in the middle of the dried branches. Their tiny hands clung tightly, their feet dangling helplessly.
“EEK! EEK!” Lilo screamed first, trying to move, but the dried branches trapped her little body.
Koko panicked and cried loudly, his small face filled with fear. “Mamaaa! Help!!” he screamed, his tiny voice echoing through the trees.
The jungle went silent for a moment, but soon their cries reached their mother. Hearing their distress, Mommy Monkey came running as fast as she could.
When she arrived, she saw her two babies stuck and wailing on the dried stick. She quickly climbed up, carefully grabbing Lilo and then Koko, pulling them into her warm arms.
Both babies hugged their mom tightly, their little bodies still shaking.
“Don’t climb weak sticks again!” Mommy scolded gently, kissing their tiny heads.
The two babies sniffled but nodded. They had learned their lesson—never trust a dried stick!
