Minea loved to play. She was full of energy, always climbing, jumping, and chasing anything that moved. But sometimes, she got too excited and forgot to be careful—especially when playing with her little brother, Kio.

That afternoon, the two baby monkeys were sitting on a wooden table inside the house. Their mom had just given them some small snacks, and they were happily munching away. But Minea, as playful as ever, couldn’t sit still. She grabbed Kio’s hand and playfully pulled him, trying to make him jump with her.

Kio, being much smaller and not as strong, wobbled dangerously. Before Minea could react, his tiny hands slipped, and with a little squeak, he tumbled off the table!

Thud!

Kio landed on the floor with a soft bump, his tiny body curling up as he let out a heartbreaking cry.

Minea’s heart pounded. She quickly climbed down and rushed to his side, her little hands gently touching his back. “Kio! Kio! Are you okay?” she whimpered. But Kio just cried louder, his face scrunched up in pain and fear.

Their mom came running, scooping Kio into her arms. She checked him carefully, making sure he wasn’t hurt. Then, she turned to Minea with a serious expression. “Minea, you need to be more careful with your brother,” she said.

Tears welled up in Minea’s eyes. She hadn’t meant to hurt him. She just wanted to play. She gently touched Kio’s hand and whispered, “I’m sorry, Kio. I won’t play too rough again.”

Kio sniffled and blinked at her. After a moment, he reached out and held her hand. Minea smiled softly, knowing she would be more careful from now on.
