Kobie’s Jealous Tantrum

Comments Off on Kobie’s Jealous Tantrum

In the quiet afternoon, the two baby monkeys, Jula and Kobie, sat on the wooden floor near their mom. Jula, the younger of the two, had just finished drinking her milk and was now cuddling close to their mother, feeling safe and loved. But Kobie, the older sister, didn’t like what she was seeing. Her little face scrunched up with jealousy as she watched Jula being spoiled.

Without warning, Kobie let out a loud, dramatic cry and stomped her tiny feet on the ground. Her eyes were fixed on Jula, and her hands clenched into tiny fists. She wanted attention too! Why was Jula getting all the love?

Mom turned to Kobie with a calm but firm expression. “Kobie, stop it,” she said, raising her finger in warning. But Kobie was too deep in her jealous feelings to listen. She let out another high-pitched scream, reaching out to push Jula away from their mom.

Jula, startled by her sister’s sudden aggression, clung tighter to their mother’s side, her tiny lips trembling. Mom quickly stepped in, grabbing Kobie’s little hand before she could cause any more trouble. “That’s enough, Kobie!” she scolded, her voice gentle but firm.

Kobie froze, staring at her mother’s pointed finger. She knew that look—Mom was serious! With a pout, she crossed her arms and looked away, still feeling upset but knowing she had no choice but to calm down.

Seeing her sister’s sulky face, Jula reached out and touched Kobie’s arm softly, as if to say, “Don’t be mad.” Slowly, Kobie’s jealousy faded, and she let out a small sigh. Maybe she didn’t need to fight for love after all—Mom loved them both.
