Mody was sitting eagerly on the wooden chair, his tiny hands gripping the edge of the table as he waited for his food. His little belly rumbled with hunger, and he rocked back and forth impatiently. “Ehh! Ehh!” he called out, hoping his mom would hurry up.
The smell of warm food filled the air, making Mody even more excited. He stretched his tiny body forward, trying to get a peek at what was coming. But in his excitement, he lost his balance!
Thud!
Mody tumbled backward, his tiny legs kicking helplessly as he fell off the chair. His little body hit the floor with a soft bump, and for a second, he was too shocked to react. Then, suddenly—
“Waaaaahhh!”
Mody’s scream filled the room. His tiny face scrunched up in fear, and his little hands trembled as he lay on the ground. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked around, confused and scared. His heart pounded, and his tiny lips quivered as he let out another loud wail.
His mom rushed over in alarm. “Oh, Mody! Are you okay?” She scooped him up quickly, cradling him against her chest.
Mody buried his face in her arms, his little body shaking from the fright. He clung tightly to her, still sobbing softly. His mom gently patted his back, whispering, “Shh, it’s okay. You’re safe now.”
After a few minutes, Mody’s cries turned into sniffles. His mom kissed his tiny head and smiled. “See? You’re alright. But you have to be careful next time, little one.”
Still clinging to her, Mody let out a tiny hiccup, then peeked at the food on the table. His mom laughed. “You’re still thinking about food, aren’t you?”
Mody blinked his teary eyes and nodded. His fall may have scared him, but nothing could take away his love for food!
