Riki’s Angry Tantrum – He Wants Dad!

The afternoon was warm, and little Riki sat on the wooden floor, his tiny hands gripping the edge of the mat. His dad had just put him down, expecting him to sit and play alone for a while. But Riki had no intention of staying still—not when he wanted to be with Dad every second!

As soon as his dad turned away, Riki let out a loud, frustrated cry. His little face scrunched up, his lips trembling as he whined. “Ehh! Ehh!” he called out, his voice rising with urgency.

His dad glanced back and chuckled. “Riki, just sit for a moment. I’ll be right here.”

But that wasn’t enough for Riki. He wanted to be in Dad’s arms now. He stomped his tiny feet, his body rocking in anger. His little fists clenched, and he let out an even louder cry, his head tilting back dramatically.

Seeing that Dad still wasn’t picking him up, Riki flopped onto his belly and smacked the mat with his hands. His tiny tail twitched as he rolled onto his back, kicking his legs wildly in protest. The little monkey’s face turned red with frustration, and he let out a dramatic wail.

Dad finally sighed and came back. “Alright, alright, come here, little troublemaker.”

As soon as Dad lifted him up, Riki instantly calmed down, nuzzling into his chest. His small hands clung tightly to his dad’s arms, as if making sure he wouldn’t be put down again. With a satisfied sigh, he rested his head, his tantrum now completely forgotten.

Dad shook his head with a smile. “You just don’t like being alone, do you?”

Riki’s tiny fingers curled around Dad’s shirt, his eyes blinking sleepily. No, he didn’t. Being with Dad was the best place to be.
