One sunny afternoon, little baby monkey Yuri sat on the wooden bed, arms crossed, pouting like an upset child. His fluffy tail twitched as he huffed, staring at the floor. His mom, sitting beside him, noticed his bad mood and sighed.
“Yuri, why are you always angry?” she asked, tilting her head.
Yuri didn’t answer. Instead, he let out a loud “HMPH!” and turned away, his tiny lips pushing into an even deeper pout.
His mom chuckled softly and tried again. “Did someone take your snack? Are you sleepy? Or did a fly bother you again?”
Still, Yuri refused to say a word. He folded his little arms tightly and kicked his feet in frustration. “Hmph! Hmph!” he huffed again, his tiny face scrunched up in an adorable frown.
His mom sighed and gently poked his belly. “Come on, baby, tell Mommy what’s wrong.”
But Yuri just puffed his cheeks like a balloon, refusing to speak. “No! No talk!” he finally shouted, shaking his tiny head.
His mom shook her head with a smile. “Oh, Yuri, you always get mad for no reason! What should I do with you?”
Then, as if nothing had happened, Yuri suddenly crawled into his mom’s lap, hugging her tight. He buried his little face in her chest and let out a small sigh.
His mom laughed softly, hugging him back. “You’re such a funny little grump,” she whispered, kissing his head.
Even though Yuri never gave a reason, she knew deep down—he just wanted love. ❤️
