In a quiet corner of the jungle, baby Abigail was sitting on a soft patch of grass, her tiny tail curled around her legs. She had been playing all morning, chasing butterflies and climbing low branches, but now… something felt wrong.
Her little tummy grumbled.
Her mouth felt dry.
And worst of all… her beloved milk bottle was nowhere in sight!
Abigail’s big, round eyes scanned the area, searching desperately. She smacked her tiny lips together, letting out a small whimper. But when she saw that no one was bringing her formula, her whimper turned into a full-blown tantrum!
She threw her tiny hands up in frustration. “Eeeek! Eeeek! Eeeeeek!” she cried, her little feet stomping on the ground. Her fluffy ears twitched, her baby face scrunched up, and her lips quivered as if she had just lost her favorite toy.
Hearing the commotion, Mama Monkey rushed over. She took one look at Abigail’s pouty face and giggled softly. “Oh dear, someone’s thirsty!”
Abigail frantically reached out, her little fingers grabbing at the air. “Eeeeek!” she insisted, her tail twitching impatiently.
Mama Monkey quickly pulled out the warm bottle of formula and handed it to Abigail. The second it touched her hands, Abigail’s entire expression changed. Her eyes widened, and she let out a relieved little squeak.
She latched onto the bottle eagerly, her tiny hands clutching it as she drank. “Mmm…mmm!” she cooed, the warm, creamy taste making her feel cozy inside.
With each sip, her frustration melted away. By the time she finished, her belly was full, and her eyelids grew heavy. She let out a tiny yawn and snuggled into Mama’s arms, happy and content.
Mama chuckled, stroking Abigail’s soft fur. “All that fuss for a little milk,” she whispered lovingly.
And as the jungle breeze swayed the trees, Abigail dozed off, her tiny hand still wrapped around her now-empty bottle—dreaming of the next time she’d get to drink her favorite formula again.
