BiBi’s Big Accident

BiBi was having the best afternoon. The little monkey was happily playing on the kitchen counter, watching Mom prepare his favorite fruit snack. The smell of sweet bananas filled the air, and BiBi’s tail twitched with excitement.

But then, curiosity got the best of him. He reached out his tiny hands toward the shiny plate sitting at the edge of the counter. It was smooth and cool under his fingers.

CRASH!

The plate slipped from his grip and shattered into a hundred tiny pieces on the floor.

BiBi froze. His eyes went wide with shock. His little hands trembled as he realized what had just happened. His heart started pounding.

“Oh no… oh no…” he whispered to himself.

His ears twitched as he heard footsteps approaching. Mom was coming!

Panic took over. BiBi quickly jumped down from the counter, looking for a place to hide. Under the table? No, too open. Behind the curtain? No, his tail was sticking out!

Before he could think of a better plan, Mom entered the room. She gasped when she saw the broken plate. “BiBi! What happened?”

BiBi slowly peeked out from behind the chair, his big eyes filled with guilt. He lowered his head and covered his face with his tiny hands.

Mom sighed but didn’t look angry. She knelt beside him and gently rubbed his head. “BiBi, it’s okay. But next time, be more careful, okay?”

BiBi nodded slowly, still ashamed.

Mom picked him up and gave him a warm hug. “Come on, let’s clean this up together.”

BiBi smiled a little. Maybe breaking the plate wasn’t so scary after all—as long as Mom still loved him.
